Alice "Lorraine" Lovin
beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed on January 25, 2015. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Bill, and is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ray) Tallis and son, Jeff (Wendy) Lovin, as well as two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Lorraine was loved by many friends and family and will be missed beyond words. She was born in 1922 and was a Purdue graduate in 1943. She became a Tucsonan following WWII and became a TUSD teacher and taught for 30 years. As an avid UofA sports fan, Lorraine supported her husband's alma mater for over 50 years. In retirement, she volunteered with Mobile Meals and hiked weekly with the "Happy Hikers". Lorraine was also a very active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Sunrise Reminiscence Caregivers and to Casa de la Luz Hospice. A remembrance and celebration of Lorriane's life will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
