Oscar Ruben T. Altamirano

Oscar went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family. He was a life-long resident of Tucson. He served in the U.S. Navy. Oscar retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of service. He is survived by his children, Oscar, Ruben (Carrie), Lisa, Ken and Amanda; grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Nathan and Natalia; brother, Joe and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, Lupita and Sharon and sisters, Mary and Frances. He was a devoted father and papa and lived life to the fullest. Oscar was also devout to his faith. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Road, Tucson. Viewing with Rosary to follow will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
