79, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Tucson, AZ. Born in Bishop Hill, IL, Roger moved to Phoenix in the early 50's and married his sweetheart and life partner, Zelma. He proudly served in the Air Force at Luke Air Force Base during the Korean War. After a distinguished career with Allied Signal-Garrett and raising three children, he retired and started enjoying the fruits of his labor. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, golf and collecting firearms. He is survived by his loving wife, Zelma; children, Melanie, Cheryl and Duwan; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will forever be remembered, loved and missed by all his family and friends. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Quail Ridge Estates Rec. Center, 15301 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ 85739.
