(BROWN) JENKINS, Lois Eleanor
age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Lois was a strong, independent woman who embodied the very best of feminism long before that term existed. She lived life on her own terms often eschewing societal norms. Lois was known for the deep relationships she created, many of them spanning decades. Lois was a beautiful soul and her deep blue eyes sparkled when she laughed. She will be missed deeply by her friends and family. Her husband, Lloyd Paul Jenkins, and her beloved son, Edward James Smith, predecease Lois. Lois is survived by her son, David (spouse VeVette Turner); granddaughters, Amanda Matherly (spouse Jerry), and Lesley Sielski along with great-granddaughters, Georgia and Lucie Sielski. The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff at the Villas at Houghton along with Joe and Mary Puglia whom we can never repay for their dedicated, loving care of Lois.
