Henry L. Leyva II
has passed on peacefully in his sleep to be with our Lord, on November 23, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry P. Leyva and Trinidad L. Leyva. He served during WW II as a gunner and radio operator on a B-24; was a retired tax accountant and fierce advocate for the rights of those abused by all taxing institutions. He is survived by his siblings, Carmen Gonzales, Berta L. Valenzuela, Olga G. Castro (deceased) and Tony Gallego; his children, Wahoo (Patty) Leyva, Bill (Susan) Leyva, Kathy (Chris) Cavataio and Andy Leyva; his nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. May God rest his soul. Rosary will be said at 10:00 a.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL 7 E. University Blvd. Traditional Latin Mass to follow and laid to rest thereafter at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3535 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, Arizona. Flowers may be sent to Funeraria Del Angel, etc. or a donation sent in his memory to Infant of Prague Mission, c/o Queen of the Holy Rosary Traditional Roman Catholic Church, 2533 W. Myrtle Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85051.
