Violet May Funk
Resident of Tucson for 37 years passed away January 29, 2012 after years of battling heart problems. Born in Newton, KS on July 18, 1932 was preceded in death by son, William Funk. Survived by husband of 57 years Kenneth Funk; sons, Gary David, Mickael Funk, and Douglas Funk; daughters, Cathy Jones and Rebecka Perez; six granddaughters and three grandsons, three great-grandaughters and two great-grandsons. Before becoming ill she was a avid back packer and loved to travel this beautiful country that God created. Her wishes were to be remembered when the birds are singing and the wind is rustling the leaves and the birches and the needles of the pines. As per her wishes no services will be held.
