Catalina S. "Kitty" Randall
Born in Tucson April 29, 1917. Passed peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father and the realms of Eternal Life on June 2, 2012 at age 95. Catalina was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her brother Bernard Salgado of Tucson, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1936 and remained in Tucson her entire life. Catalina was employed as office manager of Rollings Motor Company for 20 years. Kelley Rollings sold the company in the early 1970's and went on to develop the community of Rancho Sin Vacas. That is when he called on "Kitty" to use her fluent Spanish to help him create names for all the streets in that well known community. After retirement at age 70 Catalina remained active by voluntarily tutoring Mexican immigrants to read, write and speak Spanish. She was also an active and very proud member of Business Women's Association for many years. Catalina was a very loving, caring, God - fearing, devout Catholic who never uttered a negative word to or about anyone. She will be greatly missed, but her loving memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Our family expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Family First assisted living home for their loving care and devotion to Catalina during the last year of her life. Also special and heartfelt thanks to Soulistic Hospice for their wonderful support and care during the last month of Catalina's life. Private graveside services were held at Holy Hope Cemetery on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Arrangements by ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.
