Clifford M. Lytle
age 82, passed away on October 9, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Holmes Lytle; son, Christian Lytle (Christine); daughter, Carrie Lytle; son, Jamie Scott Lytle (Jing) and four grandchildren, Sarah and Zack Schade, Delaney Lytle, and Aythan Lytle. Born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 11, 1932, Mr. Lytle was raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and moved to Tucson in 1962. He received a B.A. degree from Denison University, an LL.B. from Western Reserve School of Law, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Lytle was a member of the Political Science Department at The University of Arizona where he rose to the rank of Distinguished University Professor. He engaged in a great deal of administrative work at the University serving as Head of the Department of Political Science, Interim Dean of Students and Director of the University Honors Program. There will be no services. A gathering of remembrance will be privately held at a later time. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY.
