GRAINGER, Betty
95, born April 21, 1922 in Johnstown, PA. Betty moved to Olean, NY, where she met and married her soul mate and love of her life Bud Grainger, on December 9, 1945. They were just shy of an incredible 70 years together. Betty provided a loving home for her family in Tucson, AZ. Memories of soap operas, nachos, sandwiches, xmas cookies, endless xmas presents, tailgates, love of reading, bridge parties, and birthday celebrations will forever be a part of us. She enjoyed 25 years as a Tucson Medical Center Volunteer. She is preceded in death by husband, Bud; and son, John. Survived by daughters, Georgie (Ron) Gerhart and Becky (Bob) Longoni. Proud grandmother of Shannon, Melanie, Michael, Katie, Thomas and Greggory. Great-grandmother of nine. Betty peacefully passed away on December 20, 2017. Our gratitude to the NW Hospital 2nd floor Nurses and the "Angels" of Casa de la Luz Hospice at the Hacienda. You were a blessing to our family. A private burial will be held at a later date.
