Guenther "Ted" Ressel
Ted was born on January 1, 1936, in Friedland, Czechoslovakia, and passed away on September 15, 2014, in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his loving wife, Bette; daughters, Anne (Ronald) Berry,and Alissa (Marc) Roy; son, Thomas Ressel; grandchildren, Killian and Emily Berry and Caleb and Devyn Roy; brother, Dieter (Carol) Ressel. Ted had retired from the US Air Force as a Lt. Col., and then became a contractor for the department of defense. He was an avid soccer fan and will be remembered fondly by many as their soccer coach and referee. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and an active member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Road, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Manna Relief are appreciated. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
