Harry John McCarty
50, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the TMC Peppi's Hospice Care Center following a brief illness. Harry leaves his mother, Clarissa and sisters, Terry (Richard) Harper, Patricia McCarty, Deniese McCarty and Dahlene McCarty and brothers, Jesus (Yolanda), Ronald (Anthia), Howard (Koni), Albert (Valerie) McCarty and Todd Novitsch and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born and raised in Tucson, the son of Ronald Lucian McCarty and Clarissa B. McCarty, he was a lifelong resident of the Belvedere neighborhood. Harry attended John B. Wright Elementary School, Doolen Middle School and Catalina High School. Harry had a passion for gardening and cooking and was known as one of the better cooks in the family. We will all remember him for his quick wit, his love of science fiction novels and vintage movies. A Rosary will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY, 1040 N. Columbus Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Cyrl's Parrish on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. located at 4725 E. Pima Street.
