Dear Dad, Your 95 years enriched the life of everyone you met. You were grateful for every day, loved to laugh, and wanted to bring a smile to everyone. Your smile and zeal for life were infectious. We are blessed to have heard of your boyhood in Ukraine; tragedy of being sent to German coal mines during WWII; your bravery in immigrating to the US to make a better life for your family. You proudly told everyone your three children graduated from college while you worked 32 years at The Gleason Works in Rochester, NY until the foundry was closed. You retired to FL for 25 years before moving to Tucson, AZ in 2008. You were amazingly creative and resourceful, always having one more project to complete in your garden. You left us loving memories of a kind and generous father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Loved and survived by your three children: Victor (Deborah), Stephen (Kathleen), and Iryna (James); four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Service at 4:00 p.m.; Reception at 4:30 p.m.. All held at St. Michael Ukrainian Church, 715 W. Vanover Rd., Tucson. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Michael Ukrainian Church.
