SENAK, Lucille M.
(nee Estrella)
of Wernersville, PA, age 73, passed away on June 23, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Lucille was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She was a 1960 graduate of Tucson High School, and attended the University of Arizona. She was the daughter of Arturo Estrella and Mercedes Estrella (nee Fierro). Arturo was a long-time Deputy Sheriff of Pima County, AZ. In 1962 Lucille relocated to New Haven, CT and later Bristol, CT to raise her own family. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Connecticut State College in New Haven, CT and later earned a Master's Degree in Counseling from Central Connecticut State College in New Britain, CT. While in Connecticut, Lucille worked for the University of Connecticut (Waterbury Branch) as a guidance counselor, and for the State of Connecticut as a personnel analyst. Lucille also resided in Tucson, AZ; in Tempe, AZ; and in Rancho Cucamonga, CA while she continued to pursue her career. She lived the last 16 years of her life in Wernersville, PA where she retired. Lucille is survived by her son, Peter Senak and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline A. Walsh of Bedminster, NJ; her son, David M. Senak of Avon, CT and her grandson, Ira M. Senak of Brooklyn, NY. Lucille is also survived by her brother, Art Estrella and sister-in-law, Martha Estrella of Glendale, AZ; her sister-in-law, Molly Estrella of Pacifica, CA and her brother, Gilbert Estrella and sister-in-law, Lydia Estrella of Tucson, AZ. Lucille's brother, Richard Estrella of Pacifica, CA passed away previously. Lucille's family will be holding a private memorial service in Tucson, AZ on July 2nd.
