STRAUGHN, Charles Edward
peacefully left for a better place on October 10, 2016, with his beloved dogs and wife by his side. Born in Cord, Arkansas on December 17, 1927, Ed came to Tucson in 1940 and never left. He married Lorraine M. "Lorri" Ryan in 1954, and was blessed with three children. His early life included military service during the Korean War, responsibilities with the Olson Dairy, and years of proud driving as a Teamster. Later, Ed started his own water company, and generously provided his neighbors with tools and assistance when needed. Survived by his wife and son, Christopher. Ed was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Irene and Gene Olson and his precious daughters, Beth and Lynn. At Ed's request there will be no ceremony or burial.
