VAN BUTSEL, Donald Wayne "Van", born in Kearney, NE, on January 7, 1945, to Alfonso and Margaret McCorkle Van Butsel went home to live with his Lord on April 1, 2013. His parents preceded him. He leaves behind his wife, Dawn Everman Van Butsel, as well as his daughter, Jennifer Dawn Van Butsel Spidell and grandchildren, Sethea, Ariel and Jacob Spidell from Tucson, AZ, and his brothers, Michael Van Butsel of Bradenton, FL, and Noah and Larry Van BUtsell from Lincoln, NE. Van proudly served in the United States Army and was a Viet Nam veteran, where he was awarded several medals and commendations. Van was also proud of the fact that he earned his 27th year AA medal in March of this year. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at his church: Craycroft Baptist Church, 5729 E. 22nd St., Tucson, AZ, with refreshments to follow the service. The family is requesting that donations be made to the Craycroft Baptist Church's Music Dept. in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.
