On June 18, 2016 Rita was granted her wish to join her beloved Henry in heaven. She was an incredible person who devoted her life to raising her family with love, kindness and humor. Her 99 years on earth were filled with lots of holiday gatherings with her pride and joy, her ever growing family. Laughter, food and fun were always part of our life with Rita. She is survived by two sisters, Socorro and Carmen and two brothers, Oscar and Sonny. She leaves behind her three daughters, Toni B. Tilson, Delia B. Hansen (Harry), Cecilia B. Castañeda (Jesus) and two sons, David B. Federico (Cruz) Tom B. Federico (Cindy) to carry on the legacy of family and love. She was adored by her 11 grandchildren and admired by her 18 great-grandchildren. She was even able to meet her latest member of the family, one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN on Friday, June 24, 2016. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church followed by interment at South Lawn Cemetery.
