WITTKOP, Raymond Alan "Bud"
Bud Wittkop, 69, of Vail, AZ, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017. Bud was born in Port Washington, WI on March 13, 1948, the son of Raymond and Helen (nee Jerschefske). Raised in Cedarburg, WI he graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in Meteorology. He worked at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI before moving to Tucson, Arizona as a Quality Engineer for Hughes Missile, later Raytheon. He received his Master's Degree in Quality Engineering from the University of Phoenix in 1992. He worked as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Manager among other positions and spent over 30 years at Raytheon before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed playing softball, classic rock, following the Green Bay Packers and University of Arizona basketball. He was a generous and loving son, brother and uncle and a good friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Helen) Wittkop of Eden, WI, Russ (Gina Catalano) Wittkop of Rio Rico, AZ and Becky (Mark) Ettenhofer of Aurora, CO; his sister-in-law, Carolyn Wittkop of Fond du Lac, WI; and Sue Kempf of Tucson, AZ; his nieces and nephews, Tara (Matt) Gunther, Lance Wittkop, Jeremy (Carol) Wittkop, Kyle Ettenhofer and Matt Ettenhofer; his great-nieces and nephews, Alexis Wittkop, Abigail Gunther and Kenneth Gunther, Makenzie Vlach; as well as his dear cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen
Wittkop.
