Ruby F. Blick
Passed from this life to the next on June 16, 2012. She joins her husband, Harold; son-in-law, Art Chapa; sister, Yancie Morrison and parents, Allie and Joe Fulgham in the hereafter. Ruby was born on July 30, 1922 on a Cotton Farm in Utica, Mississippi. During WWII she moved to Washington, D.C where she met her husband, Harold. They were married for almost 60 years before Harold passed away in 2002. Ruby lived most of her life in Jackson, Mississippi, but moved to Tucson about 25 years ago to be closer to her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Chapa; son, Don Blick (Claudia); grandchildren, Allen Chapa (Amber), Ken Chapa (Heather), Laura Chapa, Chris Blick (Angelina) and Dan Blick. As well as four great-grandchildren. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to call her mom, grandma Ruby or friend. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cascades of Tucson, 201 N. Jessica.
