Teaching the kids how to swim is one of the best ways to prevent drowning.
Swim lessons can be pricey. But, the YMCA of Southern Arizona is offering them for free — aside from a $10 registration fee — to all children ages five to 12 throughout the months of June and July.
Session dates for the All Kids Swim program are June 15-25, June 29-July 9 and July 13-23.
Lessons take place at five YMCA locations: Lohse, 60 W Alameda St., Ott, 401 S Prudence Road, Flowing Wells, 4545 N. La Cholla Blvd., Marana, 13250 N. Lon Adams Road and Sahuarita, 16230 W Starlight View Lane.
The program is open to the public.
