Sonoita’s popular Steak Out Restaurant & Saloon is opening a location in Marana in February.
The opening will coincide with the Accenture Match Play golf tournament at Dove Mountain, which is a couple miles away from the planned location at the Shoppes at Tangerine Crossing, West Tangerine and North Thornydale roads.
Steak Out has been serving Sonoita for nearly 30 years. This is its first restaurant outside Sonoita, according to a press release.
Construction got under way last month on the 7,200-square-foot restaurant, which will have a “Southwestern ranch” motif. The restaurant will serve mesquite-broiled steaks and its popular margaritas. Steak Out will also feature live country music.
