Initial results showed all but one of the legislative seats likely would go to Tucson area incumbents or lawmakers trying to move between the state Senate and the state House of Representatives. Â
The new reality in Pima County is one of single-party rule. Democrats credit President Trump, in part, for their sweep, and say their grip on elections is only growing. It's frustrating to Republicans.
"Select'' Arizona lawmakers are holding their own unofficial, away-from-the-Capitol event Monday, Nov. 30, to hear allegations from the Trump legal team on the election. But on the same day, the governor is expected to officially certify Biden's win as accurate. Â
The head of the Arizona Republican Party, Kelli Ward, is suing Vice President Mike Pence in a bid to give the election to President Trump.
