Photos: Some historic Tucson home mysteries solved
These photos were all taken in the late 1950s or early 1960s for the Tucson Citizen Home section. In some cases we had no caption information and sometimes only one name — possibly the homeowner? We've included what we have. The information was written in pencil on the backs of the photos more than 50 years ago, and was not very legible. If you can help with any information, email jeubank@tucson.com and include the photo number.
Some have sent enough information for us to realize that some of these interiors are businesses and not homes. Captions have been updated.

Robert Heineman, March 30, 1957. Kathy Janssen tells us this is the back yard of her grandparents' house. Robert and Kathryn Heineman built the house in El Encanto. It is still owned by a family member and looks much the same.

Mac Bonfoey home.
Update May 31, 2019: The home was owned by Mac Bonfoey and his wife, Kay. Some time after her husband's death, Kay Bonfoey sold the home to Dr. and Mrs. Roger Cole in 1972. They sold it in the late 1980s and it went through a few owners before it was eventually razed. The address was 9851 E. 22nd St., between Old Spanish Trail and Houghton Road. It is an empty lot now. Thanks to Kris Cole for the information!
