Her previous family dropped her off with a neighbor and said they would be back for her -- that was 4 years ago. They never returned. Codie is great with kids, cats and dogs. The elderly man with whom she was left is unable to care for her and will be moving into a nursing home Thursday, February 5th. If we do not find a foster or forever home quickly, she will have to go to the shelter, not a good place for a senior dog. Codie is house-trained and knows some basic commands.
