Qualities: Parrot is a sweet and fun boy! He is a HSSA staff and volunteer favorite, many dog walkers come in extra early to ensure they will be the lucky one to take Parrot out for his walk. He is good on a leash and gets along with his kennel mates. Parrot love treats and even though he can be a little messy loves to give doggy kisses. He is proud of his big bushy tail and beautiful coat; he keeps his head held high in his kennel and is always excited to be around people! Needs: Parrot needs a home where he will have adequate attention and ability to exercise. The staff at HSSA think he would benefit and do great in addition behavioral training, he is a good listener! He loves to be out in the yard running around and getting treats. Parrot has a smaller lower jaw so his mouth can be a little slobbery, all the better to kiss with you

Qualities: Chapo is a healthy happy 2-3 year old beagle/corgi mix. He is shy and timid and his foster family has worked with him so he has come a long way. Once he warms up to you, he loves to cuddle and be petted. As with most beagles he will need a fenced yard or be kept on a leash while outside. His new family will need to continue to help him feel comfortable around people. He will do best in a quiet home with no young kids, and maybe a cat as a buddy. He gets along fine with cats!

QUALITIES: This boy is very mellow and sweet. He gets along with cats and other dogs.
NEEDS: Joshua is overweight and as a result, he is not very active. He needs a family that will help him slim down to handsome golden size. He has been largely an outside dog, and he is not housetrained, so he needs a family that can be patient and spend time with him.

Age: 3 Years Old
Qualities: M.J. loves playing, giving slobbery kisses and generally acting like a goof. His demeanor is very friendly and affectionate. He is about to graduate from his board and train program and is looking for a foster or adoptive home. His new home will get free, lifetime training support from his current trainers. He would do well in an active home willing to commit to his training. If you foster with Bridge Rescue, we provide a crate, all medical, supplies, toys, food and training at no cost to the foster.
Needs: No cats or small children, please. If the home has other dogs, a meet and greet is required.
