Qualities: Xena needs some tender loving care and a place to recuperate from two necessary surgeries to remedy her deformed patella. She will need two lateral patella luxations approximately two months apart. She is at Pima Animal Care Center now, and trying to recover from these surgeries in the shelter will be too difficult. Xena is only 40 lbs. and small in stature. She gets along great with both dogs and people. She is very friendly with strangers. We would love to find her a home (either a foster home, foster-to-adopt or adopter) that will spoil her rotten and help her recover. Xena is spayed, accepts being kenneled, fully vaccinated, licensed and microchipped. She would love to find her forever home.

We didn’t get very much information about Persian, other than her name and age, but we can tell that she is a mellow and mature girl. She enjoys cuddling, in particular, a good scratch behind the ear.
