Name/Breed: Cuba — Presa Canario Age:5 years old Qualities: Cuba is a very loyal, stoic dog who is mild mannered and a delight to be around. He is quiet, clean, and protective of his home and people. Cuba is being trained using the ForceFree Method, and we will spend time with his adopter familiarizing them with the method if they opt to purchase a collar (at cost) at the time of his adoption. The result is a balanced, off-leash reliable dog who is in sync with his handler. Cuba has excelled with his training under this method. Cuba is crate-trained, house-trained, neutered, micro-chipped, licensed and up-to-date on vaccines. Needs: Cuba is tolerant of all other dogs but selective about his doggy friends. We think he would be perfectly happy as an only dog or with a well-matched female companion. Cuba’s tail wag packs a good punch, so for this reason he is not suitable for a home with young children. We would prefer a power-breed experienced home for Cuba. He would love to find a forever family. Qualities: Chutney is a 60 lb. goofball and sweetheart. She loves chasing after balls and squeaky toys, going on walks and is great in the car. Her favorite spot is with her head in her person's lap, tongue lolling out and getting a belly rub. Chutney is spayed, has all her vaccines, is micro-chipped, licensed and crate-trained.
Needs: Chutney will do best as the only dog in a home with no children. We are looking for a foster or a foster-to-adopt, dog-skilled individual who would like to work with our trainers (who will be fully funded through TCWN) to help Chutney continue the tremendous strides she has made in her training program.
