Bridal Wreath Falls might seem more like Bridal Wreath Trickle at many times of the year — but the presence of even a small cascade in desert country inspires a kind of wonder.
The falls, in the Rincon Mountains east of Tucson, nurture a lush, tree-shaded enclave in the midst of generally prickly terrain.
To reach the site, start at a trailhead at the eastern dead-end of Speedway, follow the Douglas Spring Trail for 2.5 miles, and then take a signed spur trail 0.3 miles to the falls.
