CLIP 'N' GO
Romero Pools
Drive:
Go north on Oracle Road (Arizona 77) and continue to Catalina State Park. Drive to the parking lot at the end of the park's main road. The trailhead is across the road from the lot.
Hike:
Cross the Sutherland Wash and hike 2.8 miles (5.6 miles round trip) on the Romero Canyon Trail to get to the Romero Pools. The trail is rocky, with almost 1,000 feet of elevation gain. No dogs allowed.
Cost:
$6-per-vehicle day-use fee for Catalina State Park
