Some of my favorite meals I've had in February 💗
- Updated
February may be a short month, but there has been no shortage of delicious meals!
While we still have a week left, I thought I'd round-up some of my favorite things I've eaten this month.
From a gigantic fried chicken sandwich to a Bad Bunny-themed latte, I had some really great dishes during this month of love.

🍽️ Saturday Afternoon Chicken Sammy from Chef Brian's Comfort Kitchen: This sandwich put all other chicken sandwiches to shame. Two giant pieces of juicy fried chicken, pineapple, greens, pepper jack cheese, onions and more are sandwiched in-between two pieces of Texas toast. It is a flavor explosion! The chicken is amazing and I love the banana peppers and special mayo Chef Brian adds to everything, it is lifechanging! (Stay tuned, I have a story coming up!!!)
🍽️ Strawberry matcha and Duvalin concha from Cal's Bakeshop: Everything from Cal's Bakeshop is amazing, but when I saw they had a special Duvalin concha this month I RAN over. His conchas are always so soft and fluffy, so mix that with a rich, chocolatey and strawberry filling and you have heaven! I paired it with a strawberry matcha that I loved as well. The matcha here is great: perfect color and the right amount of sweetness. 100/10!
🍽️ Kaiju Burger and matcha soft serve from Kaiju Burger: Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this burger pop-up inside Brick Box Brewery. The Kaiju wagyu-style smashburger is becoming one of my favorite burgers in town! The patty was rich and silky, with the sweet onions adding an extra layer of flavor. The slightly spicy Kaiju sauce and fresh pickles really elevated the burger. The fries are great too but the matcha soft serve.... THE BEST THING EVER. The matcha flavor is spot on and the texture of the soft serve is perfection, I want one everyday.
🍽️ Conejo Malo latte from Chappopin Cafe: During Superbowl weekend, Chappopin Cafe made a special Bad Bunny latte flavored with coquito syrup and topped with a coconut cold foam. When I saw the Instagram post announcing it, I was so excited. I went that Friday morning and they were sold out!! But I was determined, so I got up super early on Saturday and was able to get my hands on it. It was worth getting up so early. It was the perfect combo of sweet and strong, with a hint of tropical flavors. Plus, there was a Bad Bunny sticker on the cup. I'd happily spend all my money on coffee if it meant I get to look at Bad Bunny on my cup everyday.
🍽️ Almond torte from Holy Focaccia: Holy Focaccia opened a week ago and I've already been there twice. Obsessed is an understatement! Their savory items always hit it out of the park but their almond torte was out of this world. The almond flavor was so beautiful and the torte was fluffy and moist. It is the perfect way to start a morning.
