Christmas tree lighting at Central Terminal
The Central Terminal had its first Christmas tree lighting since the 1970s on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. The event was put on by AllAboardCT.com. Their purpose was to appeal to visitors for their support of the Central Terminal as the location for the new train station. Visitors took the opportunity to get many photos of the impressive building interior. Fillmore District Councilman David Franczyk and Congressman Brian Higgins were on hand to show their support.
