A Tucson man is facing second-degree murder charges in the death of his friend, who he said he helped kill herself, authorities said.
Tyler Gunn, 47, was booked into the Pima County jail in connection with the death of Katherine Lemburg, 37.
On Friday, deputies were called to a home in the 3900 block of North Four Winds Drive.
A man told 911 that he came home to find his son at the house with a dead woman, according to Deputy Tom Peine, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
Gunn told investigators that he and Lemburg went to Redington Pass, east of Tucson, where he participated in the woman’s suicide.
Gunn then brought Lemburg’s body back to his parent’s house, where he placed her in a bedroom.
Investigators have not confirmed Gunn’s account.
