Phoenix police have arrested three men in a fatal shooting that occurred during an Oct. 1 home invasion.
The three men were arrested Monday at two locations in connection with the killing of 59-year-old Enrique "Henry" Montes.
The men arrested are identified as Vincent Griego, 18, Ricardo Martinez, 18, and Rafael Machado, 20.
Meanwhile, police and the family of the victim say police warned the family ahead of time that police had information from a confidential informant that the family was targeted for a home invasion.
Police suggested to the family that they stay somewhere else. However, the family says they didn't consider the warning serious. And now they believe police did not do enough to protect them.
