Shows at the Gaslight Theatre are all a little different from one night to the next. That difference all depends on how the crowd responds, according to Mike Yarema, who plays the part of Atom, the Teen Marvel, in the current production of "Gnatman Returns!"
The production runs seven days a week through Aug. 21 at the theater, 7010 E. Broadway.
It's difficult to tell when the actors are ad-libbing onstage. They often lob verbal shots at one another; for example: "It's hard for anyone to take you seriously in that Speedo."
The audience responds with laughter, cheers and boos, so if you go to a show, be prepared to participate.
