University Medical Center is looking for the public’s help in identifying a man brought to the hospital after he was struck by a car on the South Side Feb. 1.
The patient is in fair condition but UMC and the police have not been able to locate relatives or friends.
The patient speaks English and Spanish and has given various names, primarily Ernesto or Neto Lopez.
He may live or have friends int he Barrio Hollywood neighborhood, hospital officials said Monday.
The man is in his early 60s and weighs about 120 pounds. He was wearing an L.L. Bean khaki jacket and jeans when he was brought to the hospital.
