A Basis Oro Valley student competed on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and took home than $31,000.
Isaac Dabkowski flew to New York to take part in the Whiz Kids edition of the show earlier this month.
The 14-year-old was up to $67,000 but was unsure of the answer to the question: Of the following, who was not alive at the same time as any of the other three? A. Archduke Franz Ferdinand, B. Ronald Reagan, C. Davy Crockett, D. Ariana Grande,
Before walking away from the competition, Dabkowski brought on a former Basis Oro Valley student as his +1 to successfully answer a question about the novel 1984, which they read together in class.
Dabkowski also received a surprise message from his father who is stationed in Africa.
