Addiction experts will host a recovery expo at Pima Community College today aimed at helping people who abuse alcohol or drugs.
The free event, open to anyone recovering from an addiction or those who are interested in learning more, will begin at 11 a.m. at the college's Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.
Health organizations will have resource tables for people dealing with addiction. Health screenings will be available.
Groups will also hold 12-step meetings throughout the event.
The expo will feature music and performances by participants in a youth substance-abuse-prevention program.
The event is sponsored by Compass Health Care, La Frontera Center, CODAC Behavioral Health Services and the Community Partnership of Southern Arizona.
