PHOENIX — A Phoenix woman, in custody for allegedly killing a wheelchair-bound man, said she did it because he was a snitch.
In a jailhouse interview with Phoenix television station KTVK, 33-year-old Angela Simpson said in a calm voice that she lured 46-year-old Terry Neely to her north Phoenix apartment with a promise of sex and drugs.
Once there, Simpson said she beat Neely with a tire iron and drove a nail into Neely’s head with a hammer.
Simpson said she also pulled out Neely’s teeth and strangled him with a television cable.
Simpson said she dismembered Neely, placed his body in a trash bin and set the bin on fire. Simpson said she had no remorse for her actions and actually enjoyed killing Neely.
Neely’s body was found burning in a trash container outside a north Phoenix church on Aug. 5.
