PHOENIX - Two people were killed and three others wounded when a woman in a vehicle opened fire on another in what appears to have been an incident of road rage.
Police said seven people were traveling in a vehicle early Sunday when another car began tailgating them. When the victims braked, the other car pulled alongside their vehicle and a female passenger began firing at the victims.
Juan Roberto Cervantez Pina, 19, and Luis Lopez Cruz, 17, were killed. Three other people were wounded, but their injuries weren't thought to be life-threatening, police said. Two people were unharmed.
Police said they had no reason to believe the incident was related to gangs or drugs. The victims said they didn't recognize their attackers.
