On Monday, the city began milling and, eventually, paving a stretch of the road, in the westbound lanes, between Craycroft and Swan roads. The work, just north of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, will be done at night to minimize the impact on traffic, which can get particularly heavy on Golf Links.
