Service has been restored to the majority of Cox Communications high speed internet customers who were affected by a statewide outage this afternoon.
The outage was related to an electronics issue that has been resolved, spokesman Michael Dunne said.
All high-speed internet customers were susceptible to the outage, but about 10 percent of those who get the service were affected, Dunne said.
Technicians hope to completely restore service later this afternoon, he said.
