A teacher at North Canyon High School has been placed on administrative leave after sexually explicit pictures of her were posted on a Facebook profile.
The teacher told the Paradise Valley Unified School District that the photos were of her but that she did not post the pictures, KNXV-TV reports.
The 20 photos were posted on a Facebook page under the teacher's name. But the teacher insists the page, which was created earlier this month, is a fake.
The teacher has been placed on leave, district spokesman Marty Macurak said.
Phoenix police also are investigating the case and could pursue charges of harassment or identity theft against the person who posted the pictures and created the account.
