If you're looking for a volunteer opportunity to start your Christmas Day, PACC is holding its annual Christmas dog-walking event from 10 a.m. to noon.
About 200 dogs will need to be walked during the event. The shelter won't be open for adoptions that day, but will have regular operational hours before and after Christmas.Â
Families are welcome to attend, but only those age 16 and over will be able to walk the dogs alone.
To participate, RSVP to Andrew Stocker at Andrew.Stocker@pima.gov, by Dec. 22.
The shelter is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road.
