J.A. Jance fans don't need wait through the long hot summer for another read. A J.P. Beaumont novella, "Stand Down," will be released today, July 21.
"It’s an important part of Beau’s saga," says Jance on her Facebook page. It's published in e-book and print original paperback formats.
Using novella is a popular method for authors to fill in backstories or tell smaller stories between novels.
Beau plays a pivotal part in "Dance of the Bones" the Walker Family book coming in September, says Jance, who's been called the "first lady of the Tucson Festival of Books."
