If you have young ones who are either learning to read or having trouble learning to read, Pima County Public Library's Read to a Dog program might be helpful.
There's a session at 5 p.m. today at Wheeler Taft Abbett Branch Library, 7800 N. Schisler Drive.
The kids can read to a licensed therapy dog. It's a low stress environment for the kids to practice reading aloud.
This program is available at many branches of the Pima County Public Library. Click here for a full schedule.
