Judge Richard Fields announced this morning the doctors trying to get Pamela Phillips mentally fit to stand trial need more time.
However, he said it appears as though competency is within her grasp.
He also addressed Phillips directly. Although the process may seem tedious to her, "Nobody is trying to run you through the mill. We're trying to do this the right way."
Unless something comes up, her next hearing is now Aug. 6.
