The Pima County Superior Court has a new commissioner.
Commissioner Patricia Green was sworn in this morning by presiding Pima County Superior Court Judge Sarah Simmons and presiding juvenile court Judge Karen Adam.
Green is the first black woman to serve on the bench in Superior Court, said courthouse spokeswoman Anne-Marie Braswell.
She'll be serving on the family law bench and on the juvenile court bench.
