The TUSD Governing Board appointed three new assistant principals Tuesday to join the leadership teams at three district schools.Â
Melissa Molina-Garcia was named the assistant principal of Doolen Middle School. She formerly served as the magnet program coordinator at Utterback Magnet Middle School.Â
Joel Bacalia, a teacher and coach at Catalina Foothills High School in the Catalina Foothills School District, was appointed assistant principal of Pueblo Magnet High School.Â
Kevin Amidan, currently the assistant principal at Sabino High School, is making the move to Tucson High Magnet School.Â
