The Tucson Unified School District and Pima Community College are hosting Parent University, an event designed to inform K-12 students, parents and guardians about pathways to college.
The event will be held Oct. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pima’s West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road. The deadline to register is Friday.
Children ages 6 to 10 will attend Kids Kollege, a program designed to expose them to college with an engaging, fun approach aimed at their grade levels. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and child care is available for children ages 1 to 5.
The program includes more than 10 workshops on topics including financial aid, helping exceptional students transition to college, preparing for the college and becoming a student athlete.
