A University High junior has been selected to serve as an advisor to The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.
Ariana Parrish, 15, will serve on the 2013-2014 Youth Leadership Team, which is made up by 17 teens from across the country.
Parrish enjoys diving, yoga and baking. She is also a member of the Grrrls Project and is the treasurer for Kindness of Humanity.
The Youth Leadership Team gives voice to teens’ unique perspectives by getting young people involved nationally and locally in efforts to prevent teen pregnancy.
