The Pima County Health Department is providing free child immunizations for the upcoming school year.
Families are urged to make an appointment or drop in now to beat the back-to-school rush at one of five health department clinics.
“Serious, preventable illnesses can be avoided or at least greatly reduced if parents take action to vaccinate their children,” said Dr. Francisco García, Pima County’s public health director and chief medical officer. “In fact, vaccines are the single most effective way to prevent the spread of disease.”
Immunizations are offered Monday through Friday at the following locations:
- East office: 6920 E. Broadway Boulevard, 298-3888
- North office: 3550 N. First Ave., 243-2850
- South office: 175 W. Irvington Road, 889-9543
- Green Valley office: 601 N. La Canada Drive, 648-1626
- Catalina office: 3535 E. Hawser, 825-9299
